How We Show Up in Policy
The Thornton Area Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates or ballot issues and does not contribute to political campaigns. Our focus is on building healthy, collaborative relationships with elected officials at the city, county, state, and federal levels so we can bring business concerns directly to decision-makers without taking sides.
We are proudly bipartisan. We advocate through conversation, not confrontation. By being present, prepared, and data-driven, we ensure policies reflect the realities of local business. Our members are invited to join these discussions to help shape solutions that strengthen our community.
Building trusted relationships
Regular meetings with city, county, state, and federal leaders keep the business perspective front and center.
Providing business feedback, not politics
When proposed legislation affects local employers, we share data and real stories instead of taking a for-or-against position.
Connecting leaders and business owners
Hosting small-group roundtables that bring elected officials and business owners together for open, solutions-based dialogue.
Meet Your Elected Officials and Candidates
We help businesses understand who represents them, how to connect, and how to engage in local, state, and federal decision-making.
We host candidate forums and informational briefings that help the community learn about those who wish to represent them. View candidate information and forum videos here.
