What We Do for Business

Four pillars define how we move the needle for employers, entrepreneurs, schools, and the community.

Advocacy and Business Climate
We protect and strengthen the local business environment. The Chamber monitors legislation, meets with city, county, and state leaders, and fights for policies that keep Thornton competitive for employers. Members get timely alerts, access to issue briefings, and a direct channel to decision makers.

Networking and Relationship Building
We create rooms where deals get made. From Chamber Connect mixers to curated lead groups and buyer supplier roundtables, our programming turns introductions into revenue, partnerships, and contracts. This is where you shake hands with your next customer.

Workforce and Talent Pipeline
We connect students, schools, and employers to build the next generation of talent right here in North Metro Denver. Members get access to internship pipelines, classroom speaking opportunities, hiring exposure in front of students, and support aligning training with real hiring needs.

Promotion and Visibility
Your story should be seen. We spotlight members across ribbon cuttings, social media features, hot deals, directory placement, newsletters, and high traffic community campaigns. We put you in front of buyers, neighbors, and decision makers.

Real Outcomes

Partnerships that turn ideas into measurable progress for Thornton businesses and the community.

Business Safety Classes with Thornton Police Department

The Chamber partnered with the Thornton Police Department and the Thornton Alliance Center to design and host business safety classes that help employers prepare for theft prevention, emergency response, and employee safety. These collaborative sessions bring law enforcement and business owners together to strengthen awareness and improve safety practices across Thornton. (Advocacy and Business Climate)

Students Hired After Internships

Through Chamber partnerships with Adams 12, 27J, and Mapleton, high school students were placed in real work settings with Chamber employers in marketing, IT, trades, childcare, and more. Several students moved into paid roles after the program, and employers filled real openings faster. (Workforce and Talent Pipeline)

Contracts Won Through Chamber Connections

Local vendors met anchor buyers at Chamber networking nights and supplier matchmaking roundtables tied to Thornton development. Multiple members reported new purchase orders and service contracts that started with a Chamber introduction. (Networking and Visibility)
